Anuskha: An Elomi Lingerie Review

I was an Elomi virgin until Anushka arrived on my doorstep.
Isn't she sassy?  I adore the new colour scheme for this Spring/Summer.  When I opened the package I initially thought this was a bikini as the colours were so bold and vibrant and the material felt more sturdy than your average bra.  She'd make a fantastic swimwear option, not gonna lie!

The "Kingfisher" colours are a combination of lime green under layering with a turquoise blue lacy over lay.

The set consists of a plunge bra and briefs. I wore the 38G in the bra and size 20 on the briefs.

You can check out the Elomi website to see your closest stockists whether it be a store or online.

Sizing & Fitting;   The central gore does sit flush against my breast bone, however I think I should have ordered a 38GG rather than a 38G as there is a slight overspill, this is my own fault - I am usually a GG so I'm not quite sure why I opted for the a G cup especially as their range goes up to a 42HH, 44G & a 46DD. The straps are thick and comfortable and the back band is supportive and wide.
The briefs are not high waisted they sit under my navel but they are well sized.  I would say they run true to size as they are a little loose on me and I sit between a size 18 & 20.  The back panel is entirely see through mesh.  They are a full shape and low rise cut on the leg.

Detailing: The lace detailing and lime green accents on the bows are adorable. The quality of the fabric is impressive. The items feel thick and durable, not flimsy, like they are built to last.  I like that!

I love the set so much that I even used one of these photos as one of my submission photos for Curvy Kate's "Star in a Bra" competition.

Overall Summary:  The colours really make this set for me.  It's such an eye-catching set that exudes a fun and flirtatious vibe.
Rating:  9/10
Potential improvements: Perhaps a wider band at the back.
Would I recommend this? Yes of course. The quality alone is enough to make me want to try more from Elomi.

Why struggle with chafing when you could be....Chaffree??

I must admit, I wasn't holding out much hope for any miracles when I agreed to review +Chaffree 's Womens Knickerboxers.

The pitch: "Chaffree underwear is designed to offer relief from sweating and chafing."

I was dubious, I have tried other shorts such as Sloggis and the like and even Primark's shapewear and nothing managed to achieve what Chaffree were promising. Could they really keep me sweat-free?  Could these shorts see me through a whole Bunny Hop Fitness class without the usual uncomfortable feeling of my undies sticking to my skin?

My first trial of the shorties was for the Regent's Park 10k Charity run/walk for the British Heart Foundation.  Now walking that distance for anyone who's thighs touch could be a real concern, no one wants to experience that unneccesary sensitivity between their thighs.  Sometimes walking can be extremely uncomfortable, especially when it's warm or when your sweating.

I teamed the Chaffree Knickerboxers with a +PanacheLingerie Sports bra in pink that was very kindly provided for me for the walk too!

Together this pair made my walk a breeze!  The walk took me 2 hours and although I was sweating everywhere else my nether regions were super dry!  I was in shock!  I was so wrong! What is this wizardry? How is it possible?

Chafree's products are made of a seamless and lightweight performance wicking material called COOLMAX®, which is designed to keep skin cool and dry.  They are also latex free and they have built in anti-bacterial properties giving relief from sweating and chafing.

OK so they stood the test of walking...how would they cope with an exercise class?

Well...I was again floored by how dry I felt. Sweaty all over...except...there!!

Simply put people I cannot rave about these enough. Gone are my days of chafing, gone are those sweaty uncomfortable journeys home after an exercise class. You just have to try them...

They come up large so upon the advice of Chaffree themselves I sized down.  I'm between a size 18/20 and I was sent a size M/L and they fit like a glove, almost like a second skin (you can barely tell you're wearing undies!!

I think for exercise the longer leg lengths would be a good shout to tackle the inevitable odd roll up situation. But even saying that...I readjusted once during the whole hours class when wearing regular undies I'd spend a good 40% of my time "de-wedgying" myself and this class is a wiggle-fest!

Check out the website for styles and sizes but these are for both Men & Women and they are thoroughly worth every penny!!

...now excuse me I'm off to order my lifetime supply....

Pretty Lingerie sets from Primark

Primark have really stepped up their game with regards to catering for larger cup sizes recently. Since the introduction of their D-F cup range I have seen the line evolve.  It started with drab everyday wear bras that you wouldn't really want to wear and fit was completely off. Now they are offering a wider range of bra & knicker sets in an array of gorgeous styles and colours and it is far more appealing to the eye.

Now I'm not saying the fit is perfect, it's not by any stretch and they would do well to invest a little more time into improving the cut of these bras but it's positive that they have started to incorporate aesthetically pleasing designs for the well endowed ladies.

Here's my newest addition;

Now this bra is a 38F and it came in a pack of 2 bras for £9.00, The knicker set is a size XL which is an 18/20, again this came in a pack of two for £4.00.  I haven't worn the all pink set just yet but they are the same style.

Overall Summary: Both sets are a lovely style and perfect for everyday wear and also in the bedroom.
Rating: 6/10

Potential improvements: The cut of the bra is not perfect, it's not the best fit but it's adequate for the price. Why stop at a 38? Why stop at a F cup...bigger sizes all round I say!
Would I recommend this? Yes purely on value for money for everyday wear.
