...Not THAT kinda Shade! Eye shade! *Sunglasses Review* from GlassesShop

I've always been a fan of Gucci style sunnies so when I stumbled across GlassesShop offering discounted stylish sunglasses at ROCK BOTTOM prices, I jumped at the chance to try them out.

I tried out the Catherine Wayfarer Shades

These glasses are fully polarised and totally lightweight, so they not only look uber cool but they don't weigh down on your nose.

For a pair of cheap glasses these do not lack in quality at all. They are durable and have lasted my entire summer so far and with the fabulous weather we have had, I'd say that's pretty awesome! I would have expected them to fall apart by now!

Fall apart?  Why would you say that?
- Simply because of the price!  These frames are UNDER £20! These are currently available for just £18.27!!

The great thing about GlassesShop is the fact that you can add your pupillary distances (RX & PD) to your order and have your glasses made into perscription sunglasses.  They also offer standard frames for prescription eyeglasses, make sure you check them out!

As if this post could get any sweeter but I'm gonna try and do just that by offering you a whopping 50% off any eyeglasses and sunglasses with free lenses (sale frames excluded though!)
Just quote GSHOT50 at the checkout to apply the discount.

Happy Shade Shopping!

Why struggle with chafing when you could be....Chaffree??

I must admit, I wasn't holding out much hope for any miracles when I agreed to review +Chaffree 's Womens Knickerboxers.

The pitch: "Chaffree underwear is designed to offer relief from sweating and chafing."

I was dubious, I have tried other shorts such as Sloggis and the like and even Primark's shapewear and nothing managed to achieve what Chaffree were promising. Could they really keep me sweat-free?  Could these shorts see me through a whole Bunny Hop Fitness class without the usual uncomfortable feeling of my undies sticking to my skin?

My first trial of the shorties was for the Regent's Park 10k Charity run/walk for the British Heart Foundation.  Now walking that distance for anyone who's thighs touch could be a real concern, no one wants to experience that unneccesary sensitivity between their thighs.  Sometimes walking can be extremely uncomfortable, especially when it's warm or when your sweating.

I teamed the Chaffree Knickerboxers with a +PanacheLingerie Sports bra in pink that was very kindly provided for me for the walk too!

Together this pair made my walk a breeze!  The walk took me 2 hours and although I was sweating everywhere else my nether regions were super dry!  I was in shock!  I was so wrong! What is this wizardry? How is it possible?

Chafree's products are made of a seamless and lightweight performance wicking material called COOLMAX®, which is designed to keep skin cool and dry.  They are also latex free and they have built in anti-bacterial properties giving relief from sweating and chafing.

OK so they stood the test of walking...how would they cope with an exercise class?

Well...I was again floored by how dry I felt. Sweaty all over...except...there!!

Simply put people I cannot rave about these enough. Gone are my days of chafing, gone are those sweaty uncomfortable journeys home after an exercise class. You just have to try them...

They come up large so upon the advice of Chaffree themselves I sized down.  I'm between a size 18/20 and I was sent a size M/L and they fit like a glove, almost like a second skin (you can barely tell you're wearing undies!!

I think for exercise the longer leg lengths would be a good shout to tackle the inevitable odd roll up situation. But even saying that...I readjusted once during the whole hours class when wearing regular undies I'd spend a good 40% of my time "de-wedgying" myself and this class is a wiggle-fest!

Check out the website for styles and sizes but these are for both Men & Women and they are thoroughly worth every penny!!

...now excuse me I'm off to order my lifetime supply....

Introducing Queens Phasion Studio....*Review*

Earlier in the year I was chosen to be the International Promo Model for a relatively new brand called Queen's Phasion Studio.  They are based in the USA and have a growing following over there. Nominating international promo models is a step towards global domination ;)

Shania Glover - the company's Founder is a lovely lady and she comes from humble beginnings which is part of the reason I applied to be her international model.

Shania's business runs primarily via her Facebook page and her website.  She doesn't offer a lot of stock at any one time, I presume this is down to it being in the company's infancy, but via Facebook she promotes items which if they generate a lot of press (i,e. likes/comments) she will make them available by pre-order.

I recently received two garments to play dress up with, both are items that I wouldn't usually opt for, but that's not a bad thing.  It's good to jump outta your comfort zone once in a while.  Both items were jumpsuits.  One in pink and the other in black.  Out of the two I prefer the pink but they are both lovely items. Both jumpsuits have a retro/70's feel to them.

The black jumpsuit (or romper for you US folk) is called "The Diana Jumpsuit" and can be purchased using the following link;  >>BUY Diana HERE<<<

I'm wearing a 1x here which is the equivalent of 18/20 UK sizing.

I'm gonna have to be perfectly honest and say I'm not a huge fan of the bell bottom leg, but it's fit for purpose as it's designed to be a 70's throwback.  It's just not my thing.

The material on the legs is spandex (or lycra) and the top is polyester but has a chiffon type feel.

I'm not overly keen on the cut outs on each side, I would've preferred it to be "whole"

The pink jumpsuit comes from their "Della Collection" and can be purchased using the following link;  >>BUY Della Jumpsuit HERE<<

This is way more me and I reckon I would wear this again on a night out perhaps with a waist belt and killer heels and some chunky jewellery.

It's a jersey type material and is really comfy to wear so could easily be dressed up or down.

Again - wearing a 1x (UK 18/20)

Queens Phasion Studio does ship internationally with a shipping fee but the cost works out cheaper if you buy multiple items.

Please give them a little look-see...

In search of uplift...Curvy Kate Cascade Set *Review*

After many years of wearing ill-fitting bras and being told by various “professional” bra fitters on many different occasions that I was a 44DD for so long you could imagine my confusion when Hannah from Curvy Kate measured me to a 38GG.  She seemed to know my size from just looking and at first I doubted her – that was until I tried this bad boy on!

The fit was unlike any bra I had ever tried.  The middle was flush against my breast bone, my boobs weren’t spilling out of the sides or the underwire wasn’t cutting into the side of my boob and what’s more – I had some serious cleavage going on.  Hannah told me that if I continued to lose inches (through BunnyHop) I may need to drop the back size but go up a cup size to a 36H and true to her word, that is my current size.  I bought this set in a 36H and Size 18 shorts.

I was fitted on a whim in Evans on Oxford Street one evening and I had not been in a position to buy on the day, but I fell in love with the colour of the Cascade set in “Topaz”  So when I saw that Curvy Kate had a fantastic offer of bra sets for £20 at Style XL I could not help myself.  I picked up this set and another in black and a few pairs of undies from the £1 a pair bargain bucket!

The bra has a gorgeous diamond shaped embroidery on the cup with an adorable little droplet jewel in the middle. The material has a elastane feel to it, but it's a soft laminate so it feels silky smooth.

It gives fantastic lift and for me that's a big plus. Since having a bubbs my boobs just lost their perk so anything that gives me a semblance of the once known perkiness was always gonna be a winner in my eye's. No "four-boob" going on and no side spillage! (Some serious official terminology there!) The straps are fully adjustable.

The shorts are made of the same material as the lower part of the cup and even feature the same embroidery and  droplet detail. My bottom half is by far the biggest part of me and I often opt for a size 20 in most undies so for my sizeable ass to fit into a CK size 18, the shorts must be a generous fit.
This set is available NOW at Brastop and there are BLACK FRIDAY deals reducing many lines to £14 (Go Check it out!!)

Just search for "Cascade Topaz"

The balcony bra was £29 now only £14 & the shorts were £15 now only £8  It's such a steal make sure you take a look-see!

The style is also avail in a jade colour "Pixie" same cut but it's still full price :(
The sizes of the balcony bra (Product code: CK3601) range from 28-40 in a D to K cup and 42-44 in a D to G cup.
The shorts (Product code: CK3603) range from an 8 - 22
There is also a thong in the same sizes but thongs don't really do it for me!
Overall Summary: This set makes me feel confident and sexy. The quality is brilliant, the set washes well too.
Rating: 8/10
Potential improvements: I would've preferred a slightly higher waist on the shorts, but that's just preference.
Would I recommend this? Yes I would totally recommend being fitted by Curvy Kate. Their designs are gorgeous and girly. Perfect for day to day wear and pretty enough to rock in the bedroom too!

Pour Moi? Forbidden Basque *Review*

This gorgeous Pour Moi? basque is currently on sale on the +Simply Be website; Forbidden Basque

It has been reduced from £64.00 to £59.00
Product Code: BP617HS

Here I am wearing a 38FF which I believe is the largest size cup size that they do, however they do stock up to a 40 in back size.

I love the harness style straps it adds to turn what would be a rather plain run of the mill basque into a show stopper.  The balcony style cup isn't the most supporting but it holds well in my opinion with no overspill.

The colour appears purple but the underneath is actually an off white with black mesh and lace detailing.

It comes with suspender straps fitted.

The back is just sheer mesh and it has three rows of hook & eye fastenings to adjust accordingly.

This cut instantly creates an hourglass silhouette which is ideal for women of size.

There are matching briefs available here also.

Lovedrobe's Little Lacy Number *Review*

The team at Lovedrobe were very kind to send me this lovely little number to try on for size.

This lace crochet shift dress in my opinion is true to size and even has a little room for give on the waist. I am wearing a size 20 here.

The lace/crochet patterned overlay is cute and I really like the detailing on the arm trim and hem.  The inner dress is the same colour as the outer layer; somewhere between fuchsia and cerise.

The dress comes up a little on the short side - I couldn't comfortably bend over in this dress. On my 5ft 4 frame it sits about 3/4 inches above the knee.

The arms are one the tight side and the cut of the dress makes it quite difficult to raise your arms without hoisting the dress up, which with the length is not really ideal!

I love the colour and style of this dress and it's a huge shame about the length.  I am not a tights girl at all, so unless I can rock it bare legged it's not for me.  This dress would strictly have to be worn in hot weather or even a holiday dress!  Teamed with a pair of killer heels and clutch this would be simply gorgeous for a warm summer's eve.

If you are tempted, it may interest you to know that this dress is currently in the sale on Lovedrobe's website here, reduced from £55 to £28 which is a fantastic reduction. So get it while it's hot!
It's available from sizes 16 - 26.

Have you tried this dress? What are your opinions?

When life gives you...Wingz™ *Review*

So the lovely team at Wingz™  were kind enough to send me a gift or two to review. Before I stumbled across a Twitter feed of a fellow blogger I didn't even know these babies existed.

Wingz™  are a fantastic alternative if you have a dress/top that you just cannot wear because you are not a huge lover of your arms being on show or if you love a top but it's cold and you wanna wear an extra layer.

I generally do not mind having my arms on display and I'm not a huge lover of a long sleeved top/dress so wearing these felt a little weird at first but I can totally see the advantage.

Both these sets were a size 2X which to be fair for my size 18/20 frame and 36H bust these fit perfectly but the arms were a little loose. I should have perhaps sized down.  The band is elasticated so there is tonnes of give, so sizing down perhaps would have made the arms a little less baggy.

You could quite easily slip these under a dress or vest top to add an extra arm layer.

I tried the black set on with my ASOS Skater dress and I loved the fact that it made it look like a completely different dress!

I would thoroughly recommend these Wingz™ to anyone who wants that extra layer or wants a simple way of covering your upper arms without the need for a cardi.

You can find these and other designs here on their website

*Review* MUA Lipsticks

If you were to delve into my make up collection you would probably assume that (quite rightly so) I am totally in love with +MUAcosmeticsTV products. Their lipsticks are no exception.

I initially started building my MUA lipstick family over a year ago.  At the time I had never worn a bright red lippy so I thought that I would ease myself in with a reasonably priced one rather than dishing out for an expensive one.  By first purchase would have been Shade 13; a gorgeously daring red.   I had picked it up from Superdrug at a steal of a price; just £1!  What a bargain!  The texture had quite a creamy consistency, far thicker than I had imagined for the price and I must admit, with it being such a low price I hadn't held out much hope.  I was blown away by the quality. The colour was highly pigmented & it had a gorgeous vanilla scent.  I imagined that it would dry out my lips but it was quite the opposite. My lips felt lovely and moisturised.  The staying power of the lippy was the only downfall, but when it only costs a pound you can reapply to your hearts content.  The packaging caught my eye, on the rack they looked far more expensive than the price tag.  It was only when I got home that I realised that the bottom of the lippy had a sample pot screwed into the bottom, This is quite a novel quirk, I'm not entirely sure what it was designed for, but it's a cool feature in my opinion.

I had instantly fallen in love.  So much so that the very next day I set my self a mission to buy every shade they offer.  Superdrug always seem to sell out both online & in store so quickly, so I haven't completed my collection, but it's a work in progress.

I would thoroughly recommend these lipsticks.  They are extremely good quality & impeccable value and the shades are beautiful.  There are definitely some which are not the best colours for me, but that won't stop my buying them all!

You can pick up these babies at ANY +Superdrug store, online via their website or via the MUA website directly.

**Product Review** Leighton Denny's Eau De Parfum - Light & Dark

I was extremely lucky to have won a bottle of this gorgeous perfume via Everything Cosmetic

Here's my thoughts on this scent;

"The packaging of this 70ml Eau De Parfum was enough to hook me.  The box was eye-catching and the pattern with the logo in the background reminded me of Gucci's well known motif.  This instantly made me thing highly of the perfume without even a whiff!  The bottle was a unique shape, the simple & understated "LD" logo on the lid exuded elegance.  Once opened the aroma was strong, almost heady.  The fruity blend of fragrances are a perfect fit to a Christmas scent, you can instantly pick out the Myrrh, Incense & Jasmine.  The perfume was quite intense on first spray but throughout the day it diffused, making it a perfect transitional scent from day to night, so aptly named "Light & Dark"  I love this and will totally be recommending this to my friends."

Thank you to The EC Team for sending me this gorgeous gift, my first Christmas pressie!
