Meet Sian - Ms Curvaceous UK Ambassador & Plus Size Model
1) Why did you apply for MCUK?
I applied for MCUK because I love what they stand for and I wanted to join them in promoting it.
2) So, you weren’t picked as one of the 20 finalists, but you were given the extra-ordinary opportunity to become an Ambassador for the brand. What were your initial feelings when you found out you weren’t a finalist?
I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't disappointed, but you get many knockdowns within the industry and for me, it's a part of life's way of seeing whether you're serious about your goals enough to keep on going and pushing forward.
3) What does it mean to you to be named an Ambassador of the MCUK brand?
I feel privileged to be given to opportunity to be an Ambassador for MCUK. I've spent the last few years sharing my thoughts on Body issues and self acceptance with my Facebook followers. Now I have to chance to spread the word further and I'm thrilled!
4) What does 2015 hold for you?
Continuing to model and to push boundaries on what is deemed "Normal" or "Perfect" by the industry.
